"Shop local and Mike at Lake Villa tire is down to earth. Great price on 4 new Tiger Paw and alignment. It’s an easy place to miss on Grand ave but nobody can beat the price and service!"

"I do not hand out five-star reviews lightly, and I definitely do not write long ones unless a place actually earns it. Lake Villa Tire & Service did. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was different from the typical repair shop “counter vs customer” dynamic. No pressure, no rehearsed sales pitch, no attempt to scare me into repairs I didn’t ask for. Instead, they spoke to me like a human being who drives a machine, not a wallet attached to a steering wheel. They inspected the vehicle, explained what mattered now, what could wait, and what didn’t need touching at all. That last part alone tells you everything about a shop’s integrity. Most places make money on ignorance. These guys make money on trust. The work itself was clean and precise. No mystery noises afterward, no new warning lights magically appearing, no greasy fingerprints left behind as a calling card. The car left feeling tighter, quieter, and honestly safer than when it went in. You can tell this is a shop run by people who actually plan to stay part of the community, not squeeze it. Experienced technicians, straightforward communication, fair pricing, and the rarest commodity in auto repair: calm confidence instead of theatrical urgency. If you want a place that treats your car like transportation instead of an opportunity, this is it. I came in hoping to fix a problem. I left with a mechanic I’ll keep."

"I had a great experience with this shop from start to finish. They properly diagnosed the issue, explained what actually needed to be repaired, and didn’t try to upsell or pad the bill. The work was done at a fair price, and only what was necessary at this time. What really stood out was the transparency. They pointed out a potential issue that could come up in the future, explained why it matters, and gave me a quote for that work ahead of time so I can plan for it. No pressure, no scare tactics, just solid information. They even locked in the quote, which I genuinely appreciated since that repair would be much more expensive down the road. Honest, professional, and straightforward service. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend them to anyone looking for an auto shop they can actually trust. Junior made sure I understood what was necessary and what could be done later. I really appreciate the time he took to make sure I understood everything."

"My car tire got flat due to a screw stuck into it from the construction road while im driving to Chicago from Minnesota. Luckily I found Lake Villa Tires on google and come over for them to check it out without appointment. Mike was nice enough to help me fix my flat tire while he wait for his appointment person to show up. Thank you so much Mike for great service, and save my day so I continue on my trip and drive back home safely."
